WOODSMEN
History Channel’s newest off-the-grid reality series follows four craftsmen-turned-survivalists who have left behind civilization and modern convenience. Living in remote regions of the Pacific Northwest, these characters construct elaborate tree houses for shelter and design ingenious contraptions to aid in their day-to-day survival.
Our task was to create an opening title sequence that felt cinematic in scope and texture. Using bold, integrated type, double exposure and heavy footage treatment, we created a moody and epic sequence that sets the show apart. In addition, we created custom maps, hand drawn episode-specific sketches and a full package of elements to brand the series.
