FELIPE ESPARZA: TRANSLATE THIS

HBO collaborated with The Ether to brand a series of promos and featurettes in a marketing campaign for Felipe Esparza: Translate This, a comedy special in which Esparza relates his life experiences via humorous discussions on immigration, bilingualism, fatherhood, and more. Inverted type nods to Esparza’s ongoing difficulty translating for his parents, while flashbulb-like flares illuminate a deep red and purple background to evoke the lush atmosphere of the venue.
